As an Applications Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare sample blends and finished products for internal and external review.

• Prepare and package sample shipments.

• Prepare food finished products for sensory panels and support panel execution as needed.

• Assess and maintain R&D laboratory ingredient inventory by retrieving ingredients from Samples, providing appropriate label designation, maintaining approved ingredients, removing obsolete or eliminated materials.

• Use technical training and skills in weighing liquid and powder ingredients accurately on lab and analytical scales.

• Track incoming samples and materials.

• Manage multiple priorities and timelines at the direction of team or project manager, Director, Manager, or Scientist.

• Work as a team member and independently to solve problems, suggest improvements, and support other teams as needed.

The Applications Technician position is well-suited for you if you:

• Haveexperience in a fast paced detail oriented position such as restaurant kitchen experience, pharmacy tech experience, or barista experience.

• Understand the fundamentals of cooking.

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Are quick, agile, and multitask well

• Take direction well

• Have a professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers

Qualified candidates will have:

• Hight School diploma or GED (General Education Degree)

• Experience with food or pharmaceutical product preparation experience

• A proven track record ofworking well to solve problems

• willingness to work onsite in ALSIP, IL 5 days per week

• Basic computer skills
