Position Summary: Immersive Design Systems (IDS) Training & Performance Specialist I
Key Responsibilities: 1. Participates in designing, developing and delivering Training and Performance activities as assigned, including: needs assessments, stakeholder meetings, curriculum development using existing/standard project protocols, facilitation, and quality assurance of existing courses. 2. Maintains supportive relationships with clinical service partners (CSP) and simulation educators within units to enhance the development of simulation activities and quality assurance mechanisms 3. Partners with Production Engineers to identify appropriate applications of simulation technology consistent with specific and/or special needs of stakeholders. 4. Assists with the delivery of faculty development programs and activities, including supporting set up and instruction in workshops and refresher courses. 5. Supports the monitoring of Training and Performance program effectiveness, through review of standard activity evaluations. Informs Manager of any identified needs for modification and adaptation to ensure IDS offerings are performed according to established standards, guidelines, and instruction 6. Develops and maintains advancing knowledge of current simulation trends, practices, and techniques through participation in professional organizations, attendance at conferences, seminars, and other continuing education programs. 7. Serves as a member of the IDS Program and interdisciplinary team. Assists/support the execution of department programs and processes across IDS as needed. Communicates issues as they arise to the Manager and Director of Training and Performance. 8. Maintains collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues, contributes to the working group's achievement of goals, and helps foster a positive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree required
Experience: 1 year of related professional experience required. Prior simulation design/delivery experience strongly preferred. |
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
