*Medical Billing Specialist* *Contract | 6 Months*
*Pay Rate:* $16.00-$17.00/hour *Schedule:* Flexible start (arrive between 6:00-9:00 AM, 8hour shift) *Work Location:* Fully Remote (Indiana residents only) *About the Role* We're hiring a *PFS Analyst (Billing)* to support a large, fastpaced Revenue Cycle Services team responsible for resolving insurance claims and accounts receivable. This is a *behindthescenes, productiondriven role* focused on ensuring claims are analyzed, corrected, and paid accurately and efficiently. In this role, you'll investigate unpaid or underpaid insurance claims, identify root causes, and take the appropriate next steps to resolve them-directly impacting revenue recovery and financial performance. *What You'll Do* * Analyze unpaid or denied insurance claims and determine corrective action * Perform provider enrollment and support charge description master (CDM) and fee schedule maintenance * Submit claims and conduct thirdparty payer followup * Post payments and work denial appeals and recoveries * Support audit defense and recovery efforts * Assist with patient collections activities as needed * Navigate and work across *multiple systems simultaneously* * Maintain timely and accurate resolution of accounts receivable *Systems You'll Use* You'll receive training on all systems, many of which are specific to this organization, including: * GE Centricity * Cerner * SMS * IDX * Medicaid portals * Payer websites and additional internal tools *Training & Schedule* * *Training:* 4-6 weeks (may extend depending on rampup needs) * *Training Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM * *PostTraining:* Fully remote work environment *What We're Looking For* *MustHave Qualifications* * 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience handling *health insurance* * Understanding of *copays, deductibles, medical terminology, and insurance processes* * Proven ability to *navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously* * Strong attention to detail in a productionfocused environment *Preferred Qualifications* * 1+ year of *medical billing experience* * Experience in claims followup, insurance resolution, or revenue cycle roles * Recent graduates of *medical billing and coding programs* with some healthcare experience are encouraged to apply *Work Environment* * Large, centralized Revenue Cycle organization supporting multiple locations * Team of 100+ professionals in a *highvolume, transactional environment* * Performancedriven role with clear productivity expectations *Why This Role* * Opportunity to gain experience in a *major healthcare revenue cycle operation* * Strong company culture focused on collaboration and growth * While this role is contractbased, successful performers often gain exposure to *future internal opportunities* *Interview Process* Interviews will focus on: * Your healthcare and billing experience * Systems and software you've worked with * Problemsolving and research abilities * Ability to handle fastpaced, highvolume work * How you prioritize and stay productive independently *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
