| Essential Job Duties |
Job Responsibilities include:
Program Administration & Operations
- Handle administrative management functions of the Women's Basketball program, including maintaining accurate student-athlete rosters, processing contracts, travel forms, and reimbursements
- Coordinate pre-season and post-season events
- Schedule and manage exit interviews and summer school forms
- Oversee admissions coordination and recruiting reports reconciliation
- Coordinate practice times with facilities and external partners
- Serve as liaison between Women's Basketball and Athletic Department units (Senior Women's Administrator, Athletics Director, Business Office, Marketing, Media, Housing, Compliance, Academic Support)
- Oversee Graduate Assistant
Budget & Financial Management
- Oversee and monitor program budget
- Assist with budget preparation and ensure operations remain within approved allocations
Team Travel & Logistics
- Manage all aspects of team travel, including flights, buses, hotels, meals, practice facilities, transportation, and per diem expenditures
Scheduling & External Relations
- Coordinate team scheduling in collaboration with NCAA, ACC, Legal, and university officials, including contract negotiations
- Manage the complex scheduling process requiring high-level coordination and communication
Compliance & Recruiting Operations
- Oversee official recruiting visits to ensure NCAA compliance
- Coordinate recruiting logistics and ensure required documentation is completed
- Work closely with Compliance on NCAA Clearinghouse certifications
Student-Athlete Support & Academic Oversight
- Meet regularly with Academic Coordinator to monitor student-athlete progress
- Assist with housing, financial aid, and admissions support
- Advise student-athletes on academic, eligibility, and conduct expectations
- Support academic performance initiatives, APR goals, and student engagement opportunities
Coaching Support & Player Development
- Assist in coaching activities, including recruiting, instruction, and skill development
- Support scouting, practice planning, and game preparation
- Monitor conditioning and training in collaboration with Strength & Conditioning and Athletic Training staff
- Participate in coaching meetings and strategy implementation

| Other Responsibilities |
- Housing and dining hall coordination for student-athletes.
- Serve as business office liaison for basketball program.
- Scholarship calculations.
- Coordinate use of facilities.
- Work with Game Operations staff.
- Represent head basketball coach at meetings as requested.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree required with experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.

| Other Required Qualifications |
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience working or in a collegiate or professional basketball environment.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's degree.
- Prior experience working or playing at Division 1 level.
