We enroll elderly patients having elective surgery and follow them longitudinally with pre- and postoperative clinical assessments, cognitive testing, delirium assessments, blood biomarkers, and brain MRI to understand how geriatric conditions and postoperative delirium influence recovery and cognitive trajectories after surgery.
