Introduction to the Job

As an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer - EUV, you help bring the world's most advanced lithography systems to life. Your work enables leading chipmakers to produce smaller, faster, and more energyefficient semiconductors that power everyday technology.

At ASML, you support cuttingedge Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) systems at customer sites across the United States. In this handson role, you contribute directly to ASML's mission of advancing technology together through collaboration, precision, and care. As an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer - EUV, you play a key role in system readiness, customer trust, and longterm performance.

Role and Responsibilities

In this customerfacing role, you install, upgrade, and support advanced EUV systems at customer locations. You work independently on welldefined activities while collaborating closely with colleagues, customers, and remote experts to deliver safe and reliable outcomes.

You will:

  • Install and relocate complex EUV equipment at customer sites, from unloading to final system testing.

  • Execute hardware upgrades and system recovery activities according to defined installation plans.

  • Analyze technical issues, collect diagnostic information, and drive problems toward resolution.

  • Coordinate technical handovers by clearly documenting work, findings, and next steps.

  • Prepare tools, parts, and information to ensure smooth execution within customer time windows.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and share feedback to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • Coach and support less experienced engineers during initial onsite activities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Several years of experience in a technical or industrial environment; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.

  • Experience working with computer applications for data analysis, spreadsheets, and technical reporting.

  • Willingness and flexibility to work at different customer locations and adapt to changing schedules.

Skills

Working at the cutting edge of tech, you'll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that. You won't work in a silo. Instead, you'll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you'll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You'll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems.

To thrive in this job, you'll need the following skills:

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and remote technical teams.

  • Apply analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English.

  • Work proactively while managing priorities in hightechnology environments.

  • Follow safety procedures and act with care for people, equipment, and surroundings.

  • Adapt quickly to new technologies, processes, and customer environments.

You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
