Qualilty Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to support our automotive accessories operations within an IATF -16949 certified environment. This role is responsible for IMDS administration, CMM programming, calibration systems, SPC analysis, and quality system compliance activities across multiple facilities. This position works closely with the Automotive Group Quality Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, data integrity, and continuous improvement across our locations in Eau Claire,WI, Wixom, MI, Lancaster, TX, and Brandon, ND.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and maintain CMM inspection routines to support production and validation activities in the Eau Claire facility.
  • Manage and support calibration systems, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards within the Eau Claire, Lancaster, and Wixom facilities.
  • Monitor and analyze SPC data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in the Eau Claire facility.
  • Track, report, and analyze PPM (Parts Per Million) performance; drive actions to reduce defects and improve customer quality metrics in the Eau Claire facility.
  • Collect, review, and analyze Layered Process Audit (LPA) data to ensure process adherence and identify systemic issues in the Eau Claire facility.
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability to assist with engineering changes in the Eau Claire facility.
  • Control and release approved drawings, ensuring proper revision management and alignment with document control requirements.
  • Request and approve supplier IMDS submissions supporting Brandon and Eau Claire facilities.
  • Maintain and submit IMDS data in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements supporting Brandon and Eau Claire facilities.
  • Support document control processes, including creation, revision, and maintenance of quality documentation for Brandon, Eau Claire, Wixom, and Lancaster facilities.
  • Conduct and support internal audits in alignment with IATF standards in the Eau Claire Facility.
  • Lead and/or support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness supporting all sites listed.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers, production teams, and leadership to resolve quality issues and drive improvements in the Eau Claire facility.
  • Provide quality support across multiple sites (Eau Claire, Wixom, Lancaster, Brandon) from a central location.
  • Assist the Eau Claire Quality Manager with additional quality system and operational tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field (preferred but not required)
  • 1+ years of experience in a quality role within the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Hands-on experience with CMM programming and metrology equipment
  • Strong understanding of SPC and data analysis techniques
  • Experience with calibration systems and measurement system management
  • Strong working knowledge of IATF-16949 standards and quality system requirements
  • Experience with OEM customer specific requirements (CSRs)
  • Working knowledge of IMDS
  • Experience conducting internal process audits and supporting corrective actions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of root cause methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations
  • Familiarity with document control systems, SharePoint and XA/MES platforms
  • Auditor certification for IATF-16949
  • Experience in automotive accessories or related product lines
  • SPC
  • Gage Trak

Travel

Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.
