Description Management/Leadership Summary: The Corporate Counsel, Payer Strategy & Revenue (CC) serves as MaineHealth's senior legal and strategic advisor for payer contracting, reimbursement, payer relations, and revenue optimization, the CC provides expert legal guidance on payer agreements, regulatory requirements, and payer disputes while overseeing and supervising the systemwide Payer Contracting team. This role is accountable for payer negotiations, contracting strategy, dispute resolution, and ensuring alignment between contracting operations and MaineHealth's financial, operational, and access-to-care goals. The CC plays a pivotal role in reducing administrative barriers to care, strengthening payer relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting payer-related policy and legislative initiatives.
