Job Summary

The Student Services Analyst position, based at Arizona College Prep and Casteel High School, is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive, site-based college enrollment program. This role supports students through the full college access and success pipeline, including early college awareness and exploration, dual/concurrent enrollment, career and educational planning, and the development of structured pathways for Early College Program (ECP) participants. Key responsibilities include coordinating case management, supporting scholarship search and application processes, delivering financial aid literacy and FAFSA assistance, facilitating placement testing, providing first-year academic advising, and assisting with college admission, registration, retention, and student success programming. The role also includes managing prospective student data within the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, monitoring progress toward enrollment goals, and preparing both narrative and data-driven reports to assess program effectiveness and outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to reducing barriers in the college admissions and enrollment process, particularly for high school students, and is dedicated to advancing student recruitment, enrollment, and success. This individual exemplifies service excellence, inclusion, innovation, and integrity, and has the ability to work independently while achieving programmatic and enrollment goals. This position reports to Enrollment Services within the Division of Student Affairs.

Essential Functions

30% - Recruitment and Enrollment
Coordinates and implements a comprehensive college recruitment and enrollment program focused on building
strong relationships with students, families, and personnel at Arizona College Prep and Casteel High School to
increase MCCCD enrollment. Supports recruitment and participation in programs such as Dual Enrollment,
AGEC, CGC programs and certificates, ACE Program, and Hoop of Learning (HOL) Program. Provides guidance
on FAFSA completion and financial literacy, including support for the Maricopa Presidents' Honors Scholarship
application. Facilitates admission and enrollment assistance, including pre-college placement testing support.
Conducts senior transition activities.

30% - Retention and Student Success Coordination
Engages in case management and develops, implements, and monitors degree and certificate pathways.
Provides first-year academic advising. Develops educational planning through small and large group settings.
Provides accurate and timely information regarding academic programs, admissions, registration, degree
requirements, and policies. Assists students with career exploration and educational planning, including course
selection and registration aligned with their goals. Shares information on Arizona transfer pathways, resources,

and maintains knowledge of articulation agreements and policies. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to
inform program decisions and monitors student progress through the enrollment pipeline. Generates reports to
track progress toward enrollment and completion goals.

20% - Partnership Development and Stakeholder Engagement
Develops and sustains collaborative relationships with MCCCD faculty and staff, including College Outreach &
Enrollment Development, marketing teams, academic departments, occupational program directors, and Student
Affairs leadership to maintain a strong understanding of college programs, services, and culture. Leverages this
knowledge to effectively guide students in selecting appropriate academic pathways. Establishes and maintains
partnerships with high school personnel, district leaders, community-based organizations, and business and
industry partners to expand outreach, strengthen recruitment efforts, and support student success initiatives.

10% - Student Support and Program Collaboration
Collaborates with internal student services departments and external community agencies to provide referrals and
holistic support to students as needed. Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of special
programs and events that promote student outreach, recruitment, retention, and college access.

10% - Professional Development and Administrative Responsibilities
Attends departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to remain current
on best practices and institutional updates; performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.

Desired Qualifications

1. Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in education, counseling, sociology, business administration or related field

2. Two (2) or more years' experience successfully implementing recruitment, enrollment plans, and/or pathways strategies

3. Two (2) or more years' experience in education in areas such as college pipeline programs, recruitment, advisement, admissions, or case management (does not have to be higher education)

4. Experience monitoring, managing and coordinating communication to clients utilizing technology and/or database management platforms

5. Experience with teaching and/or presenting to groups (experience does not have to be in higher education)

6. Experience setting and meeting goals and objectives (experience does not have to be in higher education)

7. Bilingual in English and Spanish

8. One year of relevant full-time MCCCD experience during the previous two years.

**** Experience within other community college systems or higher education institutions is valued and may be considered in addition to MCCCD experience. External candidates are encouraged to apply.

* Will be required to work at multiple sites or locations.

* Will require some travel around the district

* Will require some evenings or weekends

* Will be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs
