Short-term Temporary Casual Staff posting Summer REU 2026 The Mathematics and Statistics Department at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) invites applications for temp/casual staff to help Dr. Joe Gallian with the 2026 Summer REU camp. It is a 9-week temporary appointment. The appointment starts May 31st, 2026. Participants and staff are to be on campus by May 31st, 2026. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to working with a diverse student population. Priority will be given to applicants whose research aligns with faculty at UMD. Required Qualification: BA/BS degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years. Preferred Qualification: At least two years in a PhD program in combinatorics. At least one year of experience in working with high-level undergraduate math students in research. Must have experience in Combinatorics at the PhD level and 1 year experience in Math research. Description of Duties:
