Summary of role

This a role that supports both engineering project execution and the engineering group operations related to financial reporting and document management. This position will use the current set of capital reporting tools to establish capital project accounts, publish financial status reports for capital projects in progress, and assist management in procurement and invoice/cashflow tracking and reporting. This position will execute small projects as directed by other project engineers or by the department manager. This position will support the creation, revision, issuance, and archival of controlled documents (i.e. specifications, drawings, turnover packages) both for engineering department records and if required for quality/compliance records.

This position is based in Massachusetts and requires a presence on-site, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Function



  • Use capital initiation, planning and tracking tools to establish capital projects in accordance with Lantheus' Fixed Asset procedures
  • Assist other project managers and project engineers with procurement, commitment tracking, invoice/cash-flow tracking and reporting, and project financial close-out. Review all applications for payments for accuracy and review with Project Managers.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Procurement to assure compliance with corporate standards and practices.
  • Lead team members during project execution including Manufacturing staff, Facilities staff, multiple outside vendors and contractors. Project Management responsibility for projects in the $10K- $100K range.
  • With assistance from management, drive the project scope development and execution of external design partners and construction firms to deliver the right scope at the right time. Will help from management, coordinate and lead team review of designs/deliverables and document decisions accordingly.
  • Provide project management reports and presentations. Monitor project status and execution.
  • Incorporate safety into all aspects of projects; construction safety management, site security, environmental control, hazardous materials management, fire protection and life safety systems.
  • Utilize effective meeting management principles to drive results oriented project meetings including development of clear agendas, capturing and timely distribution of minutes, & proactive follow-up of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain the company's electronic document management system (EDMS), ensuring documents are current, approved, and properly versioncontrolled.
  • Coordinate document lifecycle activities including drafting, formatting, routing for review/approval, issuance, and controlled distribution.
  • Support authors in preparing and revising GMP documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with internal templates and regulatory expectations.
  • Monitor document change requests and ensure timely progression through workflows


Basic Qualifications



  • 4 year BS degree in engineering is required.
  • Basic understanding of project finances is required, including an understanding of basic accounting terms and methods. Knowledge of SAP/Ariba is a plus.
  • Familiarity in pharmaceutical equipment, utilities systems, and facilities engineering preferred. Basic understanding of building and equipment automation capabilities and industry best practices.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in a GMP or GLP environment (internships or coops acceptable experience).
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office suite of software tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), as well as demonstrated competency in the use of MS Project.
  • Comfort working with electronic systems (EDMS, LMS, QMS platforms).
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, influencing, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment, good business acumen and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability and willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling including off-hours and week-end work.
  • Travel 5%.

  • This individual should be a self-starter with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational and technical skills, with the capability to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical and communications skills are critical.
  • Project Management education, training, and/or PMP certification is desirable.

The pay range for this position is between $72,000 - $107,000 annually.

Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
