Job Title: Golf Range Attendant

Position Summary

The Golf Range Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked practice facility. This position supports daily golf operations through range maintenance, guest assistance, and facility upkeep in a fastpaced outdoor environment. Reliability, teamwork, and customer service are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and maintain the practice facility, including practice balls, tees, bag stands, caddies, and ball pyramids
  • Pick, clean, sort, and restock range balls throughout the day to maintain proper inventory
  • Provide friendly, courteous service to all guests, including bag handling and club cleaning
  • Walk practice tee areas to assist golfers and uphold service standards
  • Maintain cart staging, bag drop, podium, cart storage, and wash-down areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Assist with golf tournaments, outings, and special events
  • Help educate guests on course policies, cart rules, pace of play, and safety guidelines
  • May assist with directing the start of play
  • Maintain accurate records for golf club rentals; service and clean rental clubs upon return
  • Assist with general upkeep of the clubhouse, parking lot, and surrounding grounds
  • Follow safe work practices at all times
  • Attend staff meetings as required


Employment Requirements



  • Minimum age: 16 years old
  • One month of experience or training preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Valid driver's license with no moving violations within the past three years


Physical & Work Environment Requirements



  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Work regularly outdoors and around moving equipment
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a teamoriented environment

Qualifications
Education
Some college (preferred)
High School (preferred)
Experience
Maintained cleanliness and organization of practice facilities, cart storage, wash-down areas, clubhouse exterior, and parking lot (required)
Picked, cleaned, sorted, and restocked practice balls throughout the day to ensure uninterrupted guest use (required)
Prepared and maintained driving range and short game areas, including ball inventory management, range setup, breakdown, and nextday readiness (required)
