QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or GED required * Five (5) years' HVAC experience, with substantial experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or industrial environments * EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification * Valid driver's license required * Strong hands-on expertise with precision cooling systems and large-scale mechanical infrastructure * Proven ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC systems under time-sensitive, high-risk conditions * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, control diagrams, and sequences of operation * Demonstrated commitment to safety, documentation discipline, and operational excellence JOB CONDITIONS: * Ability to work around rotating equipment, elevated noise levels, and temperature-controlled environments * Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required * Willingness to participate in rotational on-call schedules and respond to after-hours emergencies * Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner * Knowledge of redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N) for mechanical systems, preferred POSITION OVERVIEW: Performs repair and maintenance tasks for FedEx Freight facilities and facilities related equipment; to maintain all heating and air conditioning to national, state or local codes.
