Truss Designer Trainee- Onsite Role (Kings Mountain NC)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Truss Designer Traineeto join our team. This role is responsible for designing accurate, optimized roof and floor truss systems while supporting both production and customer needs. • Read and interpret architectural drawings to create roof and floor truss placement layouts

• Design roof and floor trusses using engineering software, ensuring accuracy and optimization

• Ensure all designs align with current company policies, procedures, and design standards

• Specify required hardware for each project

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Job Tracking Sheets

• Send approval letters to customers in accordance with procedures when needed

• Provide sales and customer support as required

• Keep office and plans organized, logged, and properly maintained

• Attend meetings and participate in team initiatives as directed

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to read and understand architectural prints

• Comfortable working with design/engineering software

• Organized and able to manage multiple projects

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
