Job Title: Lead Confined Space Monitoring Technician Job Summary:
The Confined Space Monitoring Technician works under the supervision of the Technology Services Group or Manager to support the safe and effective deployment of confined space monitoring systems. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining specialized monitoring equipment and software used in hazardous or restricted environments. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring worker safety by monitoring atmospheric conditions, maintaining confined space entry OSHA requirements, and maintaining compliance with site/OSHA safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup (rig-up), configuration, and operation of confined space monitoring systems, including both hardware and software components.

Conduct pre-job and ongoing system checks to ensure all monitoring equipment is functioning properly and accurately. -
Maintain all confined space entry monitoring requirements per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146(i) - Perform confined space entry as required to install, inspect, and maintain monitoring equipment in accordance with safety regulations.

Calibrate, test, and perform routine maintenance on hazardous gas monitors and related safety devices on a daily basis. - Troubleshoot technical issues with monitoring systems and coordinate with supervisors or technical support when necessary.
- Actively participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments to promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain constant awareness of surroundings to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on site.
- Accurately document field activities, system performance, and maintenance logs.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to safety and confined space operations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:

- Bending, climbing and stooping as needed for access of equipment to repair and service.
