Lead and inspire a team of Private Bankers serving high net worth clients while delivering comprehensive, enterprise-wide financial solutions. This role partners closely across Associated Bank to drive asset growth, deepen client relationships, and connect clients with the right expertise at the right time. You'll play a visible leadership role with meaningful impact on clients, colleagues, and the broader Wealth Management strategy.
What you'll do:
  • Lead a team of Private Bankers to deliver exceptional client experiences, drive results, and close new business opportunities.
  • Drive asset growth, deposits, and fee income through personal relationships, referrals, and cross-business collaboration.
  • Partner with Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, Mortgage Banking, and other lines to deliver holistic financial solutions.
  • Provide strategic leadership within Wealth Management, contributing to business planning and new product or growth ideas.
  • Oversee risk management, credit administration, and compliance while fostering a strong culture of accountability.
  • Develop centers of influence and community relationships to expand the firm's presence and referral network.
  • Advise clients and prospects on financial strategies, market trends, and banking solutions using approved resources.
What you'll bring: Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in banking, commercial lending, financial planning, or investments
  • 8+ years serving high net worth clients with broad knowledge of banking products
  • 2+ years of commercial lending experience
  • Ability to meet credit check, SAFE Act, and regulatory registration requirements
  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to legally drive, if applicable

Preferred

  • 8+ years with formal credit training, risk management, or project leadership
  • CFP, CTFA, or equivalent professional certification
  • CWS (Certified Wealth Strategist)
