What You'll Do

Join the Wine and Grape Supply (WGS) team to shape short- and long-term planning for our Central Valley grape supply. You will partner with WGS Management and cross-functional commercial and functional partners to translate current wine positions into fact-based recommendations. Your day-to-day will include managing reporting and analyses of supply and demand, leading financial planning and reporting for your area, facilitating monthly financial and S&OP meetings, and building tools that convert system data into decision-driving insights.

You will identify and implement process improvements, maintain a strong understanding of winery demand, and contribute to the company's wine and grape supply strategy. Collaborative by nature, you'll work across teams to gather input, create strategies, gain alignment, and execute initiatives. Projects will require detailed work plans, rigorous analysis, clear reporting to management, and recommendations that move the business forward. You'll also support development of procedures and performance measures and conduct special financial and business studies as needed.

We seek candidates with a bachelor's degree plus experience in finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, or IT (or equivalent Gallo analytics experience) and advanced Excel skills. Travel up to 5% and being 18+ are required. Preferred skills include advanced degrees or experience with Wine Manager, SAP/SAP IBP, SQL/Python, and data visualization tools.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or IT experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of Gallo business analytics and financial modeling work experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with MS Excel at an advanced level.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • MBA plus 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Military, Operations, Business or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or IT discipline plus 6 years of Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or IT experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access & Tableau.
  • Experience with Wine Manager and Gallo Wine Management systems.

  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Experience using mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Deals with ambiguity.
  • Broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
