It supports structures from the simplest to the most complex, covering Asset Backed Securities, CLOs and Managed accounts, Corporate Debt, Escrows, Project Finance, Loan Agency and Depositary Receipts.

Corporate Trust Senior Analyst is the primary point of contact for the CLO Specialist. You must have a deep understanding of Bank Loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and other complex fixed income structures. This role is exciting and broadly ranging: the successful candidate will have extensive interaction across the transaction value chain and will be a critical component of the end to end service delivery to the client on a day-to-day basis ensuring all requirements are met in an accurate and timely manner.

Ensure our global Solvas database platform information integrity is timely maintained, and accurately reflected as sourced from third party data providers. Work closely with internal support staff, client services specialists, portfolio accounting analysts, including external clients and agent banks to facilitate the setup and maintenance of syndicated bank loan facilities for the Structured Credit Services group. Position requires a high level of detail, accuracy, client servicing, and deep research capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Supporting the Corporate Trust US business across a portfolio of CLO deals within Structured Finance vertical
  • Accurately create and maintain master security of fixed income instruments, including syndicated bank loan facilities
  • Independently source information from external market data providers
  • Review Investigate accrual and position information on internal platform
  • Oversight and manage key Projects across CLO/BLS
  • Investigate discrepancies raised by CLO Specialist and resolve the breaks, Numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail

Skills You'll Need

  • BA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics, MBA a plus
  • Moderate experience of CLO bank loans and moderate experience managing medium-size teams
  • Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles
  • General understanding of structured credit products
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
  • Familiar with Solvas or Wall Street Office (WSO)
  • The ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a team as well as individually

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • General understanding of structured credit products.
  • Competence in all MS Office products.
  • Advanced MS Excel abilities - Comfortable with complex formulas and modelling techniques.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with CLOs and/or Solvas-CDO Suite a plus
  • Ability to work in a challenging and rapidly changing business environment
  • Ability to adapt to complex financial and operational matters

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Santa Ana office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in California is $85,000- $146,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
