As a Director of Operations for the CRS fan blade operations based out of Kansas City, MO, you'll oversee day to day activities and strategizes StandardAero support in response to technical issues experienced and focuses on the day-to-day missions, identifies escalation requirements and communicates with executive leadership. You will have the ability to think outside of the box for solutions and build positive working relationships. The role will require a combination of technical expertise, project management and leadership along with an ability to communicate effectively to all site team members, internal and external customers and all management levels. You'll manage critical production flow and provide technical issue resolution for operating departments.

What you'll do:

  • Lead site teams to execute these strategies on a daily basis.

  • Provide daily communication documentation and issue communication processes to ensure communication consistency

  • Monitor production status and operation issues.

  • Develop opportunities to leverage company products and services.

  • Develop and reviews action plans, coordinates resources and work flow to provide solutions for and oversee the resolution of stoppage situations.

  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including customers and Sr level leadership.

  • Escalate issues where needed and leverages enterprise-wide solutions to provide timely and accurate response to customer inquiries.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Willing to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • 5+ years of experience building teams and driving culture, accountability, and KPIs

  • 5+ years of experience working within a fast-paced team environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with cross functional leadership, internal and external customer representatives, and development teams

  • 5+ years of experience with cross functional integration; Engineering, Site Maintenance, and/or Customer/Logistics Support

  • 5+ years of experience in the following: production cadence, aircraft parts production, lean, teambuilding, new business growth

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related discipline

  • Must be authorized to work in the US

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with robotic systems to include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical or operational problems/procedures

  • Experience with commercial and military airplane products and services

  • Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents and/or drawings

  • Experience or education directly related to airline customer operations (i.e., Maintenance, Line Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Parts, and Quality Assurance, MRO/CRS operations, etc.)

  • Master's degree
