- Conduct scheduled and unannounced on-site compliance monitoring visits within the assigned geographic region.
- Perform file and documentation reviews to verify compliance with program requirements, policies, and regulations.
- Interview program contractors, staff, and participants tovalidateaccuracy, compliance, and operational practices.
- Collect, review, and analyze monitoring data to assess risk levels,identifytrends or inconsistencies, and evaluate adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate personal, demographic, and company data for eligibility and status verification.
- Verify, research, and respond to reports or complaintssubmittedby program participants, contractors, or the public.
- Identifycompliance deficiencies and determineappropriate correctiveactions, follow-up activities, or referrals for further investigation.
- Document monitoring activities, findings, and outcomes in required state or internal compliance systems.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Maintain organized monitoring files and ensure documentation meets audit and record retention requirements.
- Travelfrequentlywithin the Alamo Region (Bexar County and surrounding counties).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in compliance monitoring, auditing, program oversight, or regulatory enforcement.
- Equivalentcombination of education and experience may be considered.
- Two years' experience in compliance, with 4 or more preferred in compliance monitoring, auditing, program oversight, or regulatory compliance preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to travel within the assigned service area as required to perform job duties.

- Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectiveinterviewand communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and data tracking systems.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
