The HR Specialist - Employee Experience & Onboarding is a hands-on people partner focused on creating meaningful, consistent, and employeecentered experiences across the employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on onboarding, engagement, and continuous improvement. This role blends relationship-building, process ownership, and data-informed decision making to ensure employees feel welcomed, supported, and heard from day one. This role partners closely with HRBPs, leaders, and employees to translate feedback and data into practical, impactful improvements that elevate the employee experience and support retention.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Serve as a hands-on, visible HR partner delivering meaningful, consistent, and employee-centered experiences across the employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on onboarding and engagement.

  • Advocate for an employee-first approach by building trusted relationships with employees, leaders, and HR Business Partners to ensure employees feel welcomed, supported, and heard.

  • Lead employee listening strategies, including engagement feedback loops, stay interviews, exit interviews, pulse checks, and focus groups, to capture actionable insights.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative employee feedback to identify trends and translate insights into improvements that enhance engagement, retention, and connection.

  • Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end onboarding and orientation experience to ensure new hires feel informed, prepared, and connected early in their tenure.

  • Partner with leaders, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional teams to align onboarding and employee experience initiatives to business needs, culture, and values.

  • Coordinate learning and development activities, including scheduling, tracking participation, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives such as events, recognition activities, and communication campaigns through planning, coordination, and follow-through.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR, employee experience, onboarding, employee relations, or similar role.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret employee feedback and data and transform insights into practical, impactful actions.

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.

  • Hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
