Apex is hiring a Civil EIT to be based in Richland, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for civil professionals to deepen their technical expertise and take on increased responsibility across a diverse range of public and private projects.

Our Greater Washington Division is home to three officeslocatedin Walla Walla, Richland, and Vancouver, bringing together a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Your Responsibilities as a Civil EIT:

Receive direction on engineering tasks and maintain active communication with project managers.
Effectively manage multiple assignments and prioritize with input from project managers and professional engineers.
Willingness to work in fast paced environments across multiple engineering disciplines and project types.
Preparation of construction documents required to construct both public and private infrastructure projects.
Prepare written reports detailing design and functionality of stormwater systems in accordance with local and state stormwater requirements.
Prepare detailed stormwater models.
Prepare utility designs for stormwater, municipal water and sewer systems
Design of roadways and preparation of grading analysis for sites.
Deliver engineering design projects using Autodesk Civil 3D software.

What we're looking for:

A bachelor's in civil engineering
2+ years of experience in civil engineering design tasks for municipal public works and private development projects
Proficient skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D highly desired
Obtained Engineer in Training (EIT) license
Familiarity with Hydro-CAD stormwater modeling software
Flexibility and creativity in project approaches and openness to learn and develop your career
Knowledge of stormwater analysis software and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
