Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist helps the organization thrive by delivering trusted, high-impact HR support across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Talent Development, this role partners with leaders across multiple divisions and strengthens the team through coaching, shared best practices, and consistent, people-centered guidance that supports a positive employee experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offers, pre-employment requirements, and candidate communication. * Lead and/or support employee relations activities, including investigations, documentation, corrective action, and resolution planning, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with applicable laws * Maintain and improve access to current HR resources (e.g., SharePoint) to support self-service and consistent information sharing. * Build HR team connection and capability by coordinating regional HR meetings and HR team calls; promote best-practice sharing across locations. * Provide day-to-day HR guidance to leaders and employees, including coaching on policy interpretation, performance management, documentation, conduct, and workplace concerns. * Provide interim HR support to divisions as needed. * Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of recruiting strategy and spend, including use of agencies, talent acquisition partners, and recruiting technology; recommend adjustments to improve candidate flow, quality, and cost. * Maintain knowledge of HR best practices, regulatory changes, and HR technology; recommend and support process improvements to increase efficiency and improve the employee experience. * Perform other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications * Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. * Certifications: SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred. * Experience: 3+ years of progressive HR experience. Manufacturing environment experience in a union environment is a plus. * Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels; sound judgment, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with follow-through.
