Job Description

As a quota-carrying Sales Executive, you will sell FIS Treasury & Payments solutions within an assigned Western U.S. territory, driving new business and expansion revenue by managing the full sales cycle and building executive-level relationships across Treasury, Finance, and IT.

About the role

You will own a defined set of accounts and prospects and execute a consultative, value-based sales motion-identifying opportunities, shaping deals, and closing business across Treasury, Finance, and IT stakeholder groups. You will partner closely with your Sales Manager, Solutions Consulting/Pre-Sales, Product, and eProfessional Services to deliver outcome-focused proposals and win in competitive cycles.

What you will be doing

Develop new business opportunities and expand within existing customers to meet/exceed annual quota targets.
Establish, build, and maintain relationships at all decision levels; uncover and align prospect needs across Treasury/Finance/IT stakeholders.
Run the full sales cycle: lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, discovery, solution alignment, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
Execute territory and account plans that prioritize whitespace, competitive takeouts, and multi-solution expansion opportunities.
Build and manage pipeline discipline and keep leadership apprised of forecasts, deal risks, and next steps using CRM and standard sales operating rhythm.
Coordinate internal resources (Solutions Consulting, Product, Professional Services, Legal/Finance) to drive timely, high-quality deal execution.
Conduct business professionally and ethically in all customer and partner interactions.

Territory & travel

This role supports an assigned territory in the Western United States and requires ~30% travel

What you bring (Required)

Strong ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of personas including Treasury and Finance leadership, IT, project managers, and partners.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; comfort presenting to executive audiences.
Strong work ethic and discipline around continuous pipeline generation.
Ability to analyze problems and produce a range of options to arrive at a preferred solution.
5+ years of experience selling enterprise software applications (B2B), managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. (Calibrated down from the manager-level requirement while keeping the enterprise focus.)

Added bonus if you have

Experience selling complex Treasury or Payments solutions.
ERP experience, specifically selling financial applications.
Strong consulting sales experience-able to whiteboard, lead discovery workshops, and translate business needs into solution value.
