Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Regularly meet with customers to understand their needs, goals, and operational priorities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, strong collaboration, and a seamless customer experience.
  • Assess customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to provide additional support, services, or long-range facility planning solutions to help ensure work is scheduled, executed, and completed effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for large and complex client accounts to strengthen relationships, support retention, and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Focus on both expanding the customer base and deepening existing customer partnerships.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of preventive maintenance and service contract needs, requirements, and requests for potential work.
  • Resolve complex customer issues that may involve multiple stakeholders, operational considerations, or technical challenges.
  • Partner closely with internal departments to align customer needs with company capabilities, deliver timely solutions, and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Monitor and manage client financial performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Prepare and present reports, insights, and analysis for internal review and decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support strategic planning and business development efforts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and relevant changes in order to provide informed insights, recommendations, and value-added support to customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Two or more years of experience in the HVAC industry or a related sector, including client account management, with the ability to apply industry knowledge and provide strategic guidance to customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and effectively manage client relationships.
  • Strong skill in identifying customer needs and translating them into practical, actionable solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using CRM systems or similar tools and processes to manage customer accounts and track account activity.

Other Details:

  • This position will support the Escanaba, Iron Mountain, and Marquette, Michigan territories, as well as surrounding areas.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with the willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to client sites/customer locations.
