Job Description
The WGC is currently seeking several Program Assistants to serve as Peer Educators, supporting program facilitation, creating social media content, tabling at events, and educating on office resources.

In addition to their role as a Peer Educator, WGC Program Assistants will assist in the overall management of the office and perform a variety of office duties, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Copying & filing documents
  • Welcoming guests to the office
  • Managing the office lending library
  • Help with event setup & tabling
  • Designing digital & print flyers
  • Create and schedule social media content for Instagram & Pirate Experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Experience using tools like Canva and/or similar design software
  • Interest in student engagement, event planning, and student success
  • Comfortable representing the WGC at events, tabling, and outreach activities
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage tasks with sensitivity and confidentiality when needed

This position is open to full-time undergraduate students.
FWS Authorization Form is required.
