What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a highly motivated individual to manage our infrastructure and industrial projects across our Parts Distribution Center warehouses in North America. This person must have a construction background, with project management experience. We are seeking someone with strong skills in planning and executing projects that are both new and existing. This role will be directly managing projects with proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners. This position requires the flexibility of traveling when needed (up to 50%).
What You'll Do
- Successfully manages and takes ownership of assigned projects and scopes, including both contracted and self-performed construction projects
- Creates, stewards, and drives project schedules while identifying critical paths, communicating roadblocks, and proactively resolving site issues
- Reviews project plans and drawings to ensure accurate material and hardware requirements
- Evaluates bidding, material buyouts, and negotiation opportunities; prepares major purchase orders with appropriate pricing and scope validation
- Effectively manages contractors with a strong focus on efficiency, performance, and safety
- Maintains clear and effective communication with multiple Tesla teams and stakeholders
- Collaborates with engineering teams to resolve design roadblocks and leads quality control, inspections, and coordination with city officials and vendors to meet end-user requirements and quality standards
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of related experience indriving the execution of construction projects in manufacturing/industrial environments
- Degree in Construction Managementor equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organization skills
- Ability to evaluate multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate cross functionality to ensure on-time execution
- Evaluate and develop fragment schedules to aid in accelerated completions
- Familiar with code compliance
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
- Executive Reporting Experience and Knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret all contract documents, plans, specifications, and requirements

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
