The Logistics Associate position assists with the distribution, storage, delivery, and inspection of incoming and outgoing material.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

* Receiving - Accurately and productively verifies delivery bills and verifies product received. Identify compliance issues such as overages, shortages damaged product, packaging issues and incorrect parts. Matches bar code stocking tag with corresponding parts.

* Stocking - Accurately and productively stocks material in appropriate locations considering quantity, size, weight, volume and type of product.

* Order Picking - Accurately and productively process customer orders selecting specified part quantities from assigned inventory locations including radio frequency. Matches bin part numbers with computer order number.

* Shipping - Accurately and productively prepares preliminary shipping documenting weight, piece count and freight classification of all product. Ship customer orders as routed loading shipment on appropriate carrier.

* May perform other duties such as, maintenance of stocking locations, cycle counting, not-in-stock research, etc.

* Essential cross-training and rotation through all warehouse functions as business needs dictate.

* Performs related duties as required

Job Responsibilities and Skills:

* Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

* Must have good customer service skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Good basic math and computer skills

* Must be able to work overtime as required to load carriers

* Must be able to pass forklift skills test

* Should be able to work a flexible schedule

* Team player, able to follow instructions, goal oriented, able to work in a fast paced environment with sharp deadlines

* Willingness to work in physical environment with extreme temperatures in summer and winter

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, push, pull & reach for long periods of time. Must be able to lift & carry up to 60 lbs. Ability to maneuver around an array of machinery. Use of hands to finger, handle or feel. Color & peripheral vision; depth perception & ability to adjust focus. Work environment conditions include: exposure to moving mechanical parts; fumes, airborne particles and chemicals; extreme heat & loud noise level in some areas of the facility. Ability to quickly respond to a signal when it appears. Must be able to wear safety glasses & other assigned PPE for the duration of the shift. Ability to work in an efficient & timely manner, multitasking where necessary. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform duties which requires tolerance of standing, repetitive hand movements, continual bending and squatting, near/far/depth/color vision, and inside ambient temperatures
