Another Source's client, UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (CPE), is recruiting a Fidelity Coach/Trainer to join their team in Davis, California.

UC Davis strongly prefers candidates who are local or interested in working onsite in some capacity; however, remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates based on operational needs.

Due to statewide travel requirements, candidates must reside within the state of California or within 100 miles of assigned stakeholders.

Travel throughout California is expected.

About this role:

This is a newly created role developed to support the expansion of UC Davis' statewide Center of Excellence contract and the growing implementation of High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) services across California.

The Fidelity Coach/Trainer plays a critical role in strengthening workforce capacity and supporting provider agencies participating in the statewide BH-CONNECT initiative. This position combines coaching, technical assistance, facilitation, training, and implementation support to help agencies improve fidelity to the High Fidelity Wraparound model and drive positive outcomes for children, youth, and families.

Working closely with Fidelity Reviewers and statewide partners, this individual will help translate fidelity data into meaningful action plans, guide providers through implementation challenges, and support long-term systems improvement efforts. This is an opportunity for someone passionate about child welfare, systems of care, coaching, and organizational development to make a measurable statewide impact.

Your Contribution Will Likely Include:

Implementation Support & Workforce Development (30%)

    Provide individualized and group coaching to provider agency staff, supervisors, and leadership teams to strengthen fidelity to the High Fidelity Wraparound model
  • Support county and provider partners in integrating fidelity standards into day-to-day practice and continuous improvement efforts
  • Deliver virtual and on-site technical assistance focused on implementation success, workforce development, and best practices
  • Develop tailored coaching plans centered on engagement strategies, skill-building, and culturally responsive practices
  • Mentor supervisors and support reflective practice development
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify training needs and create responsive learning opportunities
  • Maintain documentation and reporting related to coaching and technical assistance activities

Program Development, Analysis & Evaluation (25%)

  • Collaborate with Fidelity Reviewers to interpret fidelity data and co-develop improvement plans with agencies
  • Identify statewide training needs, trends, and opportunities for systems improvement
  • Design and adapt curriculum, job aids, and training materials using adult learning principles
  • Support development of implementation plans, logic models, and integrated service approaches
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and equity outcomes
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to statewide learning collaboratives, advisory committees, and system redesign efforts

Meeting & Training Facilitation (20%)

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person trainings, workshops, and learning collaboratives focused on Wraparound principles and practices
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams through collaborative decision-making processes
  • Develop agendas, training materials, and follow-up documentation to support effective learning experiences
  • Deliver ongoing trainings tailored to various stakeholder groups
  • Use adult learning strategies to ensure sessions are engaging, interactive, and practice-oriented
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide follow-up coaching and support

Project Management (25%)

  • Lead implementation projects from planning through execution while ensuring alignment with fidelity standards and system-of-care values
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address barriers or risks
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements, reporting expectations, and regulatory guidelines
  • Facilitate communication and engagement across stakeholders and partner organizations
  • Document lessons learned and support sustainability planning efforts

Experience You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience/training
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing services within a High Fidelity Wraparound program serving children, youth, and families
  • Experience providing coaching, training, technical assistance, or workforce development support within child welfare or systems of care environments
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, trainings, or collaborative learning environments
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, organize work effectively, and manage competing priorities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom or Teams
  • In-depth understanding of child welfare systems and family-centered service delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related behavioral science field
  • Experience implementing or training others in High Fidelity Wraparound or similar service models
  • Experience developing curriculum or instructional materials for adult learners
  • Knowledge of coaching and transfer-of-learning best practices
  • Experience supporting county or provider system change initiatives
  • Ability to assess training and professional development needs
  • Knowledge of policy and legislative impacts related to child welfare systems

This position is subject to a budgeted salary range of $77,100/yr. - 108,500/yr; commensurate with education and experience
