Pay Rate: $120,000 - $140,000/year
Location: Farmington, CT
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and oversee the IT department to ensure effective support of business operations and enterprise applications.
* Manage ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central preferred), including implementation, upgrades, integration, and ongoing optimization.
* Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including production planning, shop floor data collection, traceability, and ERP integration.
* Oversee IT and OT environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations across manufacturing and corporate systems.
* Direct IT infrastructure operations including servers, networks, endpoints, routers, switches, firewalls, and related systems.
* Ensure reliable IT service delivery across business functions including supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, and sales operations.
* Develop, implement, and enforce IT and OT policies, procedures, and security standards.
* Manage cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, EDR, patch management, vulnerability management, and incident response coordination.
* Collaborate with internal leadership and external vendors for system upgrades, integrations, and support services.
* Oversee identity and access management (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID) and ensure proper access controls across systems.
* Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning efforts.
* Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443) and data protection regulations.
* Support BI and data integration initiatives using tools such as Power BI, ETL platforms, and SQL-based systems.
* Provide leadership in IT project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
* Support additional IT, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master"s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred.
* 5-7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT environments.
* Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central preferred).
* Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP integration.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networking, endpoints, and enterprise systems.
* Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices including EDR, patch management, and vulnerability assessment.
* Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and identity/access management principles.
* Strong understanding of network architecture (LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP).
* Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* Experience supporting IT operations in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
* Strong understanding of ERP, MES, and business process integration across enterprise systems.
* Experience with IT/OT convergence in manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and ISA/IEC 62443.
* Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI), ETL processes, and SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
* Experience managing IT vendors, consultants, and external service providers.
* Understanding of endpoint lifecycle management, asset tracking, and IT service delivery.
* Experience implementing IT policies, security controls, and infrastructure standards in regulated environments.
