Description

Execute and lock loans as they are submitted. Accurately update Encompass and input any new information. Determine monthly funding loss and reclaim lost funds. Update file information as loans are purchased by investors. Assist in day-to-day activities in the Secondary Department.

Position Accountabilities



  • Confirm execution of all locks, including subprime
  • Register loans
  • Lock extension/change/cancellation requests
  • Perform Encompass upload and review of program/rate/ margin/caps/buydown info.
  • Perform filing - hedged and correspondent
  • Work with Operations Specialist to balance escrow accounts post-purchase from investor
  • Maintain individual off sheet pricing
  • Maintain processing rates
  • Assist with investor funding disputes and follow-up
  • Assist with LO pricing and guideline questions
  • Other duties as assigned

This position reports to the Supervisor-Secondary Market

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience



  • Minimum of 3 years managing branch operations in a mortgage banking firm or a related field involving real estate lending


Knowledge & Skills



  • Demonstrated proficiency at business development, funding, underwriting or equivalent areas as determined by company management.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to analyze operations conditions, take corrective action as required, project results and implement strategies to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to quickly identify and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.
