Summary Department based internship. Incumbent receives academic credit in accordance with school and internship guidelines. Internship provides hands-on learning experience.   • Assist management with business development projects, including operational analysis, space allocation, and volume reporting
  • Manage calendars and schedules for management and faculty, including planning and coordinating meetings and appointments
  • Maintain office files and systems to ensure efficient retrieval of documents and correspondence
  • Support correspondence, filing, telephone coverage, mail routing, and other administrative functions
  • Coordinate departmental activities, including seminars, conferences, meetings, and events
  • Assist with interview scheduling and travel arrangements for faculty candidates
  • Prepare and track expense reports for management and faculty
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute as appropriate
  • Order supplies and manage inventory
  • Provide backup support for ambulatory services, including scheduling patient appointments and conducting confirmation calls
  • Partner with physicians to support administrative needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
