Administrative Assistant State of Connecticut Judicial Branch Hartford The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Materials Management Unit, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks, such as reviewing documents for completeness, maintaining paper and electronic files, email correspondence, answering phones, and provide staff assistance as needed to support administrative functions. This position entails the ability to communicate in an articulate and professional manner, with internal and external stakeholders, and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records for reporting purposes. Preference will be given to applicants who possess experience working with Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, Share Point and Teams. Salary Range: $64,716 - $84,049/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING General Experience: Five years of experience in administrative support, accounting support, or court support work. Substitutions Allowed: College training may substitute for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours equaling one-half year of experience to a maximum of two years for an Associate’s degree.
