Low Voltage Installation Technician Location: Charleston, SC Job Type: Full-Time Build the Networks That Keep Hospitals & Schools Connected Ready to put your low voltage skills to work on large-scale commercial projects? We're hiring dependable, motivated Low Voltage Installation Technicians to support major hospital and school projects throughout the Charleston area. What You'll Be Doing * Pull and install CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling in commercial facilities * Mount, replace, and support WiFi access point installations and cutovers * Terminate cables and complete punch-downs on patch panels and 110/66 blocks * Read and interpret low-voltage drawings and blueprint symbols * Support live network changeovers while minimizing downtime in active facilities * Maintain organized, professional, and high-quality installations * Work in schools, hospitals, and other occupied commercial environments * Follow safety standards while delivering excellent customer service onsite What We're Looking For Required Qualifications * 1+ year of low voltage or structured cabling experience * Basic understanding of networking and cabling standards * Ability to identify and interpret blueprint symbols and layouts * Knowledge of cable color codes, RJ45/RJ11 connections, and JHook spacing * Professional attitude and strong work ethic * Comfortable working in healthcare and educational facilities Preferred * Own basic low-voltage tools * Experience with commercial WiFi deployments * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule & Travel * Full-time schedule with consistent 40+ hour workweeks * Typically Monday-Thursday (4x10s) or Monday-Friday (5x8s) depending on project needs * Some evening or shift work required for hospital access windows * Majority of work is local to Charleston with limited regional travel * Overtime opportunities available Why Join Us? Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
