Overview We are seeking a Data Analyst to support Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams by delivering actionable insights and scalable data solutions. This role focuses on working closely with business stakeholders to analyze data, improve reporting processes, and drive informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Partner with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Revenue teams) to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights * Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis * Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar BI tools * Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities * Support development and optimization of data pipelines and data warehouse environments * Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability * Translate analytical findings into clear, business-friendly insights * Present updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership * Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems Required Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role * Strong SQL skills (query writing, optimization, joins, indexing, debugging) * Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau * Proven experience supporting business teams (Sales, Marketing, Revenue, or similar) * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders * Experience working with large datasets and relational databases Preferred Qualifications * Experience with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift) * Experience in business intelligence, reporting, and data storytelling * Experience with data pipeline development or automation * Familiarity with KPI development and performance tracking Key Skills * SQL * Tableau / Data Visualization * Data Analysis * Business Intelligence * Stakeholder Communication * Data Storytelling Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $82.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
