Machine Operator

Location: Rainsville, AL (1369 Main St East) Start Date: 6/23/2026 Duration: 12 months (through 6/22/2027) Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (40 hrs/week + mandatory OT; future 2nd shift flexibility preferred) Openings: 4 Pay Rate: $15.00/hr (Bill Rate: $20.63/hr)

Position Overview

We are hiring Machine Operators (Winders) to support coil production in a light industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for winding electrical coils to precise specifications, operating coil winding equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient, and highquality production output.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Set up and adjust winding machines to meet product tolerances
• Operate coil winding equipment (bench lathes, Bachi, Broomfield, hand winders)
• Insert insulators, tape, splice and solder wires, and form coils using hydraulic presses
• Wind prototype coils, identify issues, and suggest improvements
• Use liftassist equipment for materials over 50 lbs
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and productivity standards
• Support inventory activities
• Adhere to 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices
• Perform additional duties as business needs evolve

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials
• Basic verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with routine distractions
• Physical ability to:




• Stand/sit for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach as needed
