Purpose:

You will provide architectural design and technical leadership services to Worley and its customers, including discipline leadership, technical oversight, and coordination within multi-disciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver architectural services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
  • Initiate, manage, and supervise architectural project requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking and review procedures.
  • Ensure the project scope is clearly defined and that changes comply with project change management processes.
  • Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Develop and review architectural design concepts, layouts, and detailed building designs.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, design narratives, and reports.
  • Coordinate building envelope design, life safety requirements, and accessibility compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors, fabricators, and vendors.
  • Act as the Architectural Lead on specific projects.
  • Define project requirements, assign tasks, and supervise progress.
  • Mentor and support junior staff.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and resolve technical issues.

What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in architectural design within industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in leadership roles such as Lead Architect or Discipline Manager.
  • Strong technical design and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes such as IBC and life safety requirements.
  • Experience with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

Preferred:

  • Registered Architect (RA) in the United States or ability to obtain.
