Anatomic Path Support Representative III - Knoxville, TN, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay range: $17.20+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Anatomic Pathology Support Representative III position is for an individual with previous AP support experience. The individual will handle escalated/complex AP support functions, pending list issues and QA/QC functions.



Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform all duties of an AP Support Rep II.
  • Provide QA/QC support
  • Provide training to newly hired employees, as needed
  • Monitor and manage TIQ process
  • Process and manage send out testing
  • Manage and respond to problem tracking incidents
  • Monitor and manage pending lists
  • May administer and track approved release of AP materials according to corporate policy
  • May document client calls as indicated in corporate AP Report Notification policy
  • Handle escalated calls and follow up with clients
  • Resolve complex customer and AP support issues
  • Cross training in both cytology and pathology support tasks
  • Participate as a team member in department process improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with all local, federal, CLIA and CAP regulations.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.



Qualifications:

Required Work Experience:

3 years of related experience

Preferred Work Experience:

Quest LIS knowledge

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of medical terminology

Skills:



  • PC skills, to include MS Office
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Good clerical, organizational, problem solving, phone and communication skills
  • Leadership skills


Education



  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
