Data Center ISP Technician (Level 1 / Level 2) - Cheyenne, Wyoming Build the infrastructure that powers some of the world's largest data centers. We're seeking hands-on Data Center ISP Technicians who enjoy working with hardware, fiber optics, cabling, and critical infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team supporting enterprise-scale data center operations, with a unique blend of 60% inside plant work and 40% outside plant fiber infrastructure. If you have experience with rack and stack, structured cabling, hardware troubleshooting, or fiber installations, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Inside Plant Operations * Install, configure, and maintain servers, racks, network equipment, and power distribution units (PDUs) * Perform rack-and-stack activities and structured cabling installations * Manage and maintain fiber optic and copper cabling infrastructure * Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues to minimize downtime * Work alongside network and systems teams to support critical data center operations * Conduct routine inspections of equipment, cooling systems, and backup power infrastructure Outside Plant Operations * Support the installation and maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure, conduits, and cabling systems * Route, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cables between facilities and network connection points * Inspect outside plant infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance * Coordinate with contractors and vendors on installation and repair projects * Maintain accurate documentation of cable routes, infrastructure updates, and system changes Required Qualifications * Experience supporting data center, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments * Knowledge of structured cabling standards and fiber optic technologies * Hands-on experience with rack and stack, hardware installation, and troubleshooting * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documentation * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment Preferred Skills * Data Center Operations * Fiber Optic Cabling * Cat6 & Structured Cabling * Hardware Troubleshooting * Infrastructure Installation & Maintenance Licensing Requirements Candidates must be open to possessing one of the following: * LV-G Low Voltage License (4,000 hours) * LV-C Low Voltage Communication License (500 hours) Why Apply? * Work in a large-scale enterprise data center environment * Gain experience across both inside and outside plant infrastructure * Join a team supporting critical technology systems and network connectivity * Excellent opportunity for technicians looking to grow their data center and fiber optics career Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY.
