Description

MISO is seeking a Product Owner II to lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of enterprise capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. This role will be responsible for maximizing the value of ServiceNow by partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and platform owners to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate workflows, and enable enterprise transformation. You will be accountable for the vision, roadmap, and backlog of one or more ServiceNow platform capabilities. This role collaborates closely with business partners, architects, developers, and platform teams to prioritize investments, drive adoption, and ensure solutions align with enterprise objectives, governance standards, and platform best practices.

What you'll do as MISO's ServiceNow Product Owner II:



  • Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for ServiceNow, partnering with stakeholders and executives to align customer needs, business outcomes, and longterm strategy.
  • Use product metrics to independently identify complex insights, define new measures as needed, and translate findings into informed product direction and prioritization.
  • Lead crossfunctional alignment by serving as the product evangelist, guiding discovery efforts, and partnering with UX, architecture, data, and operations to ensure solutions deliver user and business value.
  • Apply Agile and productmindset principles across one or more teams by managing the backlog, facilitating sprint ceremonies, driving iterative delivery, and fostering a usercentered, adaptable team culture.
  • Connect product decisions to user outcomes and business objectives by developing business cases, applying financial acumen, and aligning initiatives with organizational goals and emerging industry trends.
  • Lead release planning, product launches, demos, and stakeholder updates, ensuring high-quality execution, clear communication, and a strong customer experience throughout the product lifecycle.


  • Champion ServiceNow platform capabilities and promote reuse of enterprise services, workflows, integrations, and data models.


Experience/Qualifications we are looking for as our ServiceNow Product Owner II:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, (or 4 years relevant work experience equivalency); 3-6 years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, systems engineering or related experience.
  • Proven experience managing product features or product areas across the full lifecycle, with exposure to customer feedback loops, product analytics, and crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, CMDB, Workflow Automation, AI, or related modules.
  • Understanding of cloud-based platforms, system integrations, APIs, and enterprise architecture concepts.
  • Strong criticalthinking and problemsolving abilities, including analyzing complex business scenarios, synthesizing data, and drawing valid, actionable conclusions.
  • Practical experience leveraging AI tools or capabilities to enhance workflows, improve decisionmaking, or support business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to incorporate AI utilization into daytoday responsibilities, such as automating tasks, analyzing data, or improving user experiences.
  • Holds a recognized Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO, SAFe PO/PM) or equivalent experience in product ownership practices.
  • Proficiency with product/backlog management tools such as Jira, GitHub, or ServiceNow.


Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $133,000 - $158,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
