Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals supporting a high visibility modernization effort. The ideal candidate will play a critical role within the Data Modernization Team (DMOD), whose goal is to make legacy Medicare data in the shared systems (FISS, MCS, CWF, and VMS) available in modern databases in AWS by providing real-time and continuous replication and transformation of VSAM data into a target platform. This position directly supports major initiatives at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, and aligned with CMS business and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain CMS database systems, ensuring continuous 24/7 availability.

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
