Security Officer Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in La Porte, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role calls for strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, with opportunities to bring a reliable, innovative approach and act with integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols while reporting concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
