JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Administrative Coordinator is a vital partner in driving departmental success, ensuring seamless operations and strong communication across Johns Hopkins Care at Home and with external vendors and partners.

Based in the executive office, this highly visible position works closely with leadership and reports directly to a Director. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative, financial, and organizational skills to help streamline processes, support operational efficiency, and ensure timely follow-through on important tasks.

This role is responsible for a range of financial and administrative functions, including invoice processing, vendor coordination, procurement support, expense reconciliation, and reporting. In addition, the Senior Administrative Coordinator provides guidance to administrative and clerical staff, supports office procedures and standards, and helps maintain a professional and efficient work environment.

Strong attention to detail, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment are essential. The successful candidate will also use SAP, Concur, Microsoft 365, and advanced Excel skills to maintain accurate records, support reporting needs, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Invoice processing| Codes and processes vendor invoices in SAP, matched against purchase orders and contracts
  • Vendor portfolio| Serves as the primary contact for a consolidated set of vendor relationships; resolves payment holds and discrepancies
  • Approval routing| Routes payments for leader approval and follows aging items through to payment
  • Procurement| Supports purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor setup
  • P-Card| Completes monthly reconciliation for assigned cardholders
  • Expenses| Processes employee expense reports in Concur
  • Spend tracking| Provides reporting on invoice volume, aging, and turnaround by cost center
  • Standard work| Maintains desk procedures and submission standards; trains team members and department staff
  • Systems| Uses SAP, Concur, and Microsoft 365, with strong Excel skills

Salary Range: Minimum $22.33/hour - Maximum $36.86/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
