Men's Club Rugby Manager (temporary/part-time)

This position will oversee the aspects of Men's Club Rugby Team's administrative efforts that aren't managed by the team's student e-board. This includes responsibilities such as organizing the club's annual alumni golf tournament fundraiser, working with the league, and overseeing the team's endowment. The position will work closely with the team's executive board and head coach. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and the team's officers. The Men's Club Rugby team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide skill development for college students and cater to a variety of skill levels
• To organize safe and appropriate sport sessions
• To supervise/mentor/guide the participating members of each club
• Attend all team practices and games
• Duty to act in an emergency by performing emergency evacuations; provide First-Aid, CPR, AED based on current certification
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in coaching or participating in specific sport
• Flexible, availability and high level of responsibility
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent
• First-Aid, CPR, AED, & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications- must receive within 90 days of starting.

This is a part-time, temporary, non-unit, non-benefited position. Anticipate Hours 4 to 6 Hours Per Week
