This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check. Min T/E Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in data management, reporting, database administration, advancement services, business operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases, data management systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets, or related technologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and data validation functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

The Advancement Division fosters meaningful relationships with alumni, friends, parents, students, community leaders, businesses, corporations, and foundations to generate philanthropic support for the university and its strategic priorities. Through thoughtful engagement, stewardship, and responsible fiscal management, the division ensures lasting partnerships that advance the university's mission.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Advancement Data & Reporting Analyst serves as a key member of the Advancement Services team and is responsible for supporting fundraising, alumni engagement, stewardship, and campaign operations through data management, reporting, dashboard development, and analysis. The position helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of constituent, donor, alumni, and fundraising data maintained within the university's advancement systems.
Job Description
The Advancement Data and Reporting Analyst serves as a primary resource for routine data requests, report development, constituent segmentation, dashboard creation, and data quality initiatives. The position assists Advancement leadership and frontline fundraising staff by providing timely, accurate, and actionable information that supports strategic decision-making, donor engagement, and fundraising performance.


The position collaborates closely with Development, Alumni Engagement, Donor Relations, Annual Giving, and other Advancement partners to support a culture of data-informed decision-making, teamwork, and continuous improvement. As a member of a small Advancement team, the position is expected to contribute to division-wide initiatives and assist with Advancement events and special projects as operational needs require.
