We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare services in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and delivering care in a structured environment. Candidates with experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, emergency services, correctional healthcare, or medical-surgical settings are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a secure correctional healthcare setting.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments, evaluate patient conditions, and identify changes requiring medical attention.
  • Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and health concerns while developing appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to provider orders, nursing protocols, and facility guidelines.
  • Provide care for acute illnesses, chronic medical conditions, behavioral health needs, and routine healthcare concerns.
  • Assist with disease management programs, preventative care initiatives, and patient education.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions within scope of practice.
  • Recognize changes in patient conditions and communicate concerns effectively to physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of assessments, interventions, medications, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, mental health professionals, correctional officers, and facility personnel to support coordinated care.
  • Follow infection prevention practices, healthcare regulations, facility policies, and safety procedures.
  • Promote a respectful, professional, and therapeutic healthcare environment for all patients.

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

  • Part-time schedule requires a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
