Vaco of Highspring is staffing for an experienced Pool & Spa Maintenance, onsite in far Northeast, FL, onsite daily. Benefits start day 1, etc. Job Summary The Pool and Spa Technicianis responsible forthe care of pools, spas, fountains, waterfalls, and water features on theproperty and in Wildlife habitats.Maintain upkeep of pool facilities and decks property wide. Essential Duties: Managesandmaintainsswimming pools and spas to ensure they are safe and clean for guest use. Testswater, handlesandaddspool chemicals tomaintainproper chemical balance and water quality. Maintainspools and all water features using proper chemicals and cleaners. Skims, brushesandvacuumspools and spas. Cleansand servicesswimming pool filtration units. Respondsto swimmingpool-relatedwork orders ina timelyand efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery or equipment. Assess and fixeslights, drains, skimmers, tile, or other pool related items above and below water level. Maintainsclean pump houses, pools, decks, poolfurnitureand surrounding areas. Fitsand repairspipes and plumbing for pools and spas. Performsminor repairs on pumps and pool equipment. Maintainsrecords of water tests, chemicaladjustmentsand other work performed for each pool and spa. Cleansandmaintainspool decks, including outdoor furniture. Maintains exteriorto include pressure washing buildings and boardwalks,etc. Performslandscape dutiesandoperatesriding mowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, blowers,etc. Keepsgroundsin a clean and orderly condition. Education and Work Experience Requirements: ? High School diploma or equivalent. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred. Minimum of two years'general swimming pool maintenance in the field (or public pool service). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods, including pool vacuum equipment use and service. Knowledge of pool pump maintenance and care. Knowledge of pool and spa safety and codes. Extensive knowledge of water testing, swimming pool chemicals and their use and properties. Mathematical skills. Ability tooperatewithout direct supervision and be self-motivated, confident, and take pride in work. Flexibility inworkhours andschedule. Dependable, trustworthy, and neatly groomed Physical Requirements, Hazards, and Special Working Conditions: Jobmay occasionally require working long hours, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work inoutdoorenvironment subject to changing weather conditions and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees at times. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and move objects weighing more than 50lbs. Must have validFlorida or Georgiadrivers' license.
