Position OverviewThe Residential Services unit in RRSS leads and oversees the planning, development, implementation and success of programs, services, activities and processes for undergraduate students residing in the Upper Division Housing communities including Pepper Canyon and Matthews Apartments, the Rita Atkinson Residences, Pepper Canyon West and Pangea Residence Halls and Apartments. Housing over four thousand students, the Residential Life team is critical to enhancing the student experience and increasing student engagement. The Residential Services Operations Manager supervises the professional admin support staff for the Residential Life teams who are responsible for overall day-to-day functions related to office administration, program support, policies, procedures and guidelines for fiscal and office matters. This position coordinates the large-scale events and programs for Residential Life, directly supervising the Residential Community Organizer team, which includes the hiring and selection process, comprehensive trainings and providing work direction through weekly meetings and annual evaluations. Assists in managing a portion of the residential program budget. Works independently under general supervision to provide information and interpretation of complex policies, procedures and regulations. Identifies and responds to student and staff needs for programs, services, and operations. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Works on issues of limited scope. Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $73,800 - $131,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $35.34 - $62.84 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
