HawkEye 360 is seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to support continuous integration, regression testing, and quality assurance for our ELINT ground processing systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a dual-role position combining software test engineering with ELINT domain expertise. You will work closely with software engineering and ELINT analytics teams to ensure the quality and reliability of systems that process raw IQ data into high-quality ELINT geolocations. We are looking for a motivated engineer with strong testing and CI/CD experience who is eager to learn ELINT signal processing and grow into a technical role that bridges software engineering and signals intelligence.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Software Integration & CI/CD:

    • Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for ELINT ground processing systems
    • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows using tools such as Airflow, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
    • Coordinate software integration activities to ensure seamless data flow through processing pipelines
    • Perform system integration testing of ELINT processing software components
    • Monitor build and deployment processes, identifying and troubleshooting integration issues
    • Maintain and improve test infrastructure, including test environments, data repositories, and validation frameworks
    • Support software releases by executing release validation procedures and documenting test results
    • Conduct data validation by comparing before-and-after datasets of ELINT geolocations
    • Support troubleshooting efforts by systematically isolating and reproducing software defects
    • Develop understanding of ELINT signal characteristics, emitter parameters, and geolocation principles
    • Work closely with ELINT analysts to translate operational requirements into testable acceptance criteria
    • Collaborate closely with software engineering, ELINT analysts and system operations teams
    • Coordinate with test engineers and analysts to share knowledge and align on testing strategies

Your skills and qualifications:
Essential education and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, integration, and quality assurance
  • Strong experience with regression testing methodologies and impact assessment
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Proficiency with scripting and programming languages for test automation (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Eagerness to learn ELINT domain knowledge and grow technical expertise in signals intelligence
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, mission-critical environments

Desirable:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
  • Exposure to ELINT, SIGINT, or RF signal processing concepts
  • Background in signal processing, RF systems, or defense/intelligence applications
