The Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO) is an executive healthcare leader and member of the Senior Leadership Team at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. The DCMO works in close partnership with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer to shape overall clinical strategy, drive operational excellence, and advance the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care at both North Central Bronx and also Jacobi Medical Center. This position provides clinical oversight and executive direction to adapt to an evolving healthcare landscape while ensuring accessible, high-value medical care across the facilities. The DCMO actively collaborates with Nursing, Operations, and Patient Services leadership to foster a culture of patient safety, clinical quality, and interdisciplinary teamwork. Note: The DCMO must be a credentialed member of the medical staff and maintain an active clinical practice on campus a minimum of 2-3 days per week. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $289,000* - $420,000* based on 40-hour work week and medical specialty. The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $357,900** - $496,000**which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution,and other factors as set forth below:
